Reader Romanos (Adam Brown) spent years teaching, studying, and defending his Protestant faith before an unexpected encounter with the Orthodox Church challenged everything he thought he knew. As his wife Hannah’s journey toward Orthodoxy created growing tension within their marriage, Adam set out to oppose the faith she had embraced. Instead, he found himself transformed, received into the Orthodox Church, and eventually tonsured a Reader.

Robert and Maggie are a young family in Richmond, Virginia, whose journey into the Orthodox Church became a search for stability, depth, and life in Christ. They reflect on conversion, community, miscarriage, and what they found at St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church. This film is the first entry in the Saints Press™ STORIES series, a collection of cinematic short documentaries exploring the lives, memories, and testimonies of Orthodox Christians, parishes, clergy, and converts.
